Learn how Regina has transformed her finances with the help of SWACU.

Meet Regina. Regina is a Customer Service Agent for Southwest Airlines and a dedicated mother of four. Despite her busy schedule, she still makes time to get her finances in line with help from SWACU.

She became a SWACU member in 2015 and continues to utilize some of our products and services such as checking, savings account, and signature loans. Regina’s decision to open an account was an easy option. “It’s another way to put money aside and save," said Regina.

Regina opened her first consolidation loan with SWACU, after deciding to transfer the loan from another financial institution. She was able to visit our website to discover rates and loan options. Regina told us, “I recently was able to consolidate my last portion of my loan, so now it’s all under the SWACU roof with an awesome rate and low payments.” She, like most members, wanted to get in on those better rates! Regina laughed and said, “There’s a lot of interesting things out there, and you pay interest until you are dead, basically.”

So now I’m in better shape from my continued future to get in healthier financial,” Regina said.

Not only was she approved quickly, but she was able to do her whole loan via phone. “I did my application online and over the phone which made the process smooth.”

Regina’s experience not only offered her a better rate, but she continues to improve her financial path. “I was in the position where my credit score was still on the climb and SWACU has helped improved my credit score.”

In addition to bettering her finances, she has also taken advantage of participation in our homebuyer webinar. She states, “It was a cool experience. For me, I just like the education of it all and knowing what options I have.” One of her optimal goals is to be more financially healthy in order to get into a house in an affordable area.

What’s next on Regina’s goals? Trying to educate her children on the importance of making the right financial choices and get into a brand-new SUV, which she will be contacting a SWACU Financial Service Officer about our awesome rates. “As time goes on, I see more financial benefits at SWACU.”
