The Coheart Relief Fund (formerly known as the Southwest Airlines Employees Catastrophic Assistance Charity) gives Employees a place to turn to for financial assistance during a catastrophic event in their lives while also providing an opportunity to extend our Hearts and
invest our resources to bring help and hope to our Southwest Family in need.
Canine Companions is the national leader in the service dog field, and SWACU is proud to support their mission. This organization empowers people with disabilities—including adults, children, and veterans—by providing highly trained service dogs that enhance independence and quality of life. Since their founding in 1975,
Canine Companions has remained committed to offering their dogs and
all follow-up services at no cost to the individuals they serve.
The North Texas Food Bank is a nonprofit hunger relief organization that provides access to nutritious food for children, families, and seniors across 13 counties in North Texas. It works with a large network of partner agencies—such as food pantries, shelters, and community programs—to distribute millions of meals each year.
The American Red Cross is a humanitarian organization that provides disaster relief, supplies much of the nation’s blood, offers health and safety training, and supports military families and international efforts.
The Salvation Army is a Christian charitable organization that provides social services such as food, shelter, disaster relief, and support for people in need, all while promoting its faith-based mission.
SWACU is committed to helping members protect their personal information, and Shred Day is one of the easiest ways to stay secure. Each year, SWACU hosts this special event to give members a safe, convenient way to dispose of documents containing sensitive information. From old statements to outdated records, Shred Day ensures your paperwork is destroyed securely and responsibly.
SWACU & The American Red Cross First Aid Kit Assembly Drive
On May 20th the employees of SWACU will spend a few hours of their day working together to assemble 400 First Aid Kits. These kits will then be delivered to the Disaster Field Supply Center
in Arlington, TX, where they will support communities
in preparing for and recovering from emergencies.
